This is 9 of the best current bassists in the world, as usual the list is not definitive of the absolute 9 best. Bass players are another essential piece of any band, even though many will joke and say the bass player is useless, that is entirely untrue. These 9 bassists have been around for a long time and I am sure most people will be familiar with the majority of them.
